My name is Felimon and I love shooting portraits and weddings in a very real style using both digital and film formats while taking advantage of the beautiful settings of central Texas. I prefer the natural tones of the hill country and west Texas. My strength is in capturing beautiful moments and expressions of heartfelt emotions between people.

That kind of sounded a bit like I stood up in the middle of a room full of people.

But seriously, I really do love what I do! A little about my style… I love real moments, no pretense. I love the sky at dusk and the way the light bounces off people. I look for light everywhere I can find it but I also know what “1/4 power” means on my flash. I know the techy-geeky stuff. I love everything new technology brings but I like to use it sparingly and with purpose (you’re not going to see your images photoshop’d to an inch of their life).

I’m also still a film guy. The emulsion process of film development (especially at the hands of a professional lab) is still something really unique. With all the sharp clarity and reality of digital I’ve realized that the softness of film is that much more special. The contrast between the two really compliments one another.
